Board Members
Nigel Tricker
Nigel was a pupil at BMS from 1955 to 1964. He went on to win a major scholarship at Oxford to study English. Between 1968 and 1985 Nigel worked for the UK Board of Inland Revenue. He then moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers where he rose to the level of partner. Sine his retirement in 2003 he has been active on the board of several charities including RELATE and Cruse Bereavement Care where he is currently the Chair of Trustees. Despite his busy schedule, Nigel continues to support the School and its Development. We are most fortunate to have his support and expertise.
Ian McEwen
Ian is currently Chairman of the School Committee and therefore is ideally placed to offer a wealth of knowledge to Development at BMS. He has 4 children, 2 of whom currently attend BMS. Ian’s background is in banking, as an Economist/strategist and Senior Banking Analyst. He has worked for Merrill Lynch, Robert Fleming and Lehman Brothers. Ian is currently developing his skills in creative writing (mainly poetry) and maintains an active interest in the Stock Market.

Stephen came to BMS as Headmaster in 1996. Before that he was Deputy Headmaster at Birkenhead School from 1993 and Head of History at Loughborough School from 1987. Among Stephen's many contributions to the makeup of the School, his commitment to Development is helping to maintain the objectives and standards that the School has always strived to achieve.
