What We Will Do For You

We will:

Welcome you to BMS whenever we can. The Development and Old Bedford Modern Club offices work through the School Holidays, allowing someone normally to be available to make you welcome. Please let us know that you are coming. Keep you informed about our fund-raising and about what is happening at BMS by means of informative publications and our website. Give you appropriate thanks and recognition for your gift.

 

Steward wisely any funds you give us and assure you that gifts will be used for the purposes for which they were given. Provide naming opportunities so that you can name buildings, parts of buildings and modern awards.

 

Recognise the generosity of major donors by offering Development Fellowships to those who give more than £100,000, either as a lump sum, or over time. Development Fellows will have their names listed on the benefactors’ board at BMS and will be invited from time to time to a special recognition dinner with members of the School, the Governors and the Foundation Patrons.

 

Respect your anonymity if you request it. Facilitate you keeping in touch with each other and with the School. Arrange events for you worldwide. Assist you to network with each other for career development. Enable you to promote your business on our website.

 

Arrange reunions, gaudies of OBM contemporaries. Enable OBMs to participate in sporting clubs. Make available facilities for conferences and other events.

In all cases, unless it is specified that they are for OBMs, these benefits also apply to parents and Honorary Members. If parents of leavers wish to continue to participate, they are very welcome to become Associate Members of the Bedford Modern Society.
